Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel has appointed former Commissioner for Information, Mr. Chris Abasieyo Honorary Special Adviser on Public Relations and Information Management.

A statement made available to newsmen indicates that the 55 year-old Abasieyo, a native of Uda in Mbo Local Government Area of the State, had worked with Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation, AKBC.

He holds a Masters degree in Development Planning from the University of Uyo, MSc in Rural Sociology and Community Development; B.A. in Humanities, Atlantic International University, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA and a Diploma in Communication Arts, Vision Christian College, Uyo.

Abasieyo is the spokesman for the PDP governorship candidate in the next year’s election, Pastor Umo Eno Campaign Organisation.
