Governor Alex Otti of Abia State congratulates WTO President, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, on her 70th birthday, praising her contributions to global development.
Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, President of the World Trade Organization (WTO), as she celebrated her 70th birthday. In a goodwill message on behalf of himself, his family, and the people of Abia State, Governor Otti lauded Okonjo-Iweala’s exceptional contributions to global development.
“On behalf of my family, government, and the good people of Abia State, I extend our congratulations to you on this momentous occasion of your 70th birthday,” Otti said.
He expressed deep appreciation for Okonjo-Iweala’s continuous service and commitment to global trade and prosperity, emphasizing her role as a source of pride for Abia State and womanhood.
“Today, we have the opportunity to thank you for your remarkable work and the positive impact you have made on our people, nation, and the world. The people of Abia State are proud to celebrate with you, our esteemed daughter,” Otti added.
Governor Otti also highlighted Okonjo-Iweala’s invaluable support and wise counsel since his assumption of office, particularly her role in the Abia Global Economic Advisory Council (AGEAC).
“We sincerely thank you for your guidance and willingness to assist in our efforts to develop Abia State. Your contributions to the AGEAC as an Honorary Advisor have been immensely beneficial,” he noted.
