Former Super Eagles Captain, Nwankwo Kanu ‘Papilo’ brought his wife and kids to greet Governor Okezie Ikpeazu yesterday.
King Kanu told the Governor that his two sons who are almost getting taller than him are already playing collegiate soccer in the UK and they plan to become professional footballers shortly.
Governor Ikpeazu told the boys that they would have to work extra hard if they want to match the level their dad reached in football but assured them that it’s possible. He describes Kanu as one of the finest footballers in the world and a pride to Abia State.
Abia State born Kanu and his family are holidaying in Nigeria.
