“If anyone is assuring them anything from anywhere, it will not happen. I am also aware that there are plans to arrest my supporters. Anyone planning to arrest my supporters will first go through me. They are only standing up for their rights, and I will be the first to sacrifice for the state,” Governor Fubara asserted.

The governor’s comments come amid heightened tensions and underscore his commitment to defending his supporters and ensuring that legal and constitutional processes are upheld in Rivers State.
