FULL REPORT: Detailed Supreme Court Judgement in Udeogu’s case that Orji Uzor Kalu relied on to be freed
Remember that Ude Jones Udeogu who was also sentenced to 10 years in imprisonment filed an application contesting the jurisdiction of the judge that delivered the judgement against him and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.
The Supreme Court ultimately decided that the judgement lacks jurisdiction and squashed the corruption matters, also called for a re trail.
It is based on this decision, that Senator Orji Uzor Kalu counsels filed an application seeking that Kalu be released considering the fact that the corruption case has been squashed by the supreme court.
