The crisis rocking the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Abia State seems to be getting more tensed as the ward congresses slated to hold today heighten the confusion and exposed more the factions.

Recall that ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER had few days ago analysed the situation and exposed the different factions in the party which includes the Chief Ikechi Emenike’s faction and the other faction led by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.

Just as predicted by this newspaper, the congress committee sent by APC National Working Committee (NWC) to oversee the ward congress in Abia State did not meet the Honorable Donatus Nwankpa’s State Working Committee (SWC), instead they went ahead to recognize the Ikechi Emenike’s faction of the party.

It is also worthy of note that the Senate Chief Whip and former governor of Abia State Chief Orji Uzor Kalu and another prominent members of the party belongs to the Donatus Nwankpa chaired faction of the APC.

This development seems to be a sign that Chief Ikechi Emenike and his group may have the tacit consent of the APC National Working Committee and confirms the earlier report by the All Facts Newspaper that the faction is gaining momentum .

However, report reaching us from sources that want to remain anonymous indicates that the Donatus Nwankpa and OUK led faction led APC may be heading to Court to challenge the reported ward congresses that was held today by the Ikechi Emenike’s faction.
