Mr Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, says Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe ought to be cooling off in prison.

Abaribe, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senator from Abia State, stood as surety for Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), before he jumped bail in 2017.

Kanu was later rearrested and he is currently in custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Although he neither mentioned the name of Abaribe nor Kanu’s, it was clear that he was referring to the duo.
