The FACE OF AFRIQUE STYLES Beauty Queens were honored at a special Homecoming Banquet hosted by Lady Priscilla Otti, wife of the Executive Governor of Abia State. The event celebrated their achievements and provided significant support for their education and community projects.
The management of Afrique Styles and Concepts, organizers of the FACE OF AFRIQUE STYLES Beauty Pageant, has extended their sincere appreciation to the wife of the Executive Governor of Abia State, Her Excellency Lady Priscilla Otti, for her special invitation to the FACE OF AFRIQUE STYLES QUEENS. The queens were honored at the “ABIA BEAUTY QUEEN’S HOME COMING BANQUET Party,” held at the Government House. The event was facilitated by the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Entertainment and Tourism, Hon. Dr. Justice Martins O. (Jmartins).
In her speech, Lady Priscilla Otti advised and encouraged the beauty queens to remain dedicated to their careers in pageantry, aiming to represent Abia at both national and international levels. She urged them to strive to be better versions of themselves, become great role models, and make a positive impact in Abia State through their PET (Personal Empowerment through Talent) projects.
To support their endeavors, Her Excellency generously awarded the FACE OF AFRIQUE STYLES Beauty Queens a total sum of N800,000 (Eight Hundred Thousand Naira), with each queen receiving N200,000 to aid their education. This gesture underscores her commitment to youth development and empowerment, particularly for the girl child.
Additionally, through the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Vulnerable Groups and Poverty Alleviation, the beauty queens were provided with a large quantity of sanitary pads. These will support their one-year PET project aimed at government secondary schools in rural communities across Abia State.
Amb. Ms. Afrique Jessey Umah-Kalu, CEO of Afrique Styles and Concepts, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Lady Priscilla Otti for her generosity, hospitality, and unwavering dedication to the development and empowerment of Abia’s youth. She praised the First Lady’s passion for the education and well-being of the girl child, highlighting the significant impact of her support on the lives of young women in the state.
The event marks a new chapter for the FACE OF AFRIQUE STYLES Beauty Pageant and reinforces the commitment of the Abia State government to foster a supportive environment for youth development and empowerment.
