President Muhammadu Buhari’s Minister of Labour and Productivity, Festus Keyamo SAN has described EndSARS Panels of Inquiry which the Buhari led Federal government ordered state governments to set up as illegal.

Keyamo stated this during an interview on Channels TV monitored by ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER.

During the interview, Festus Keyamo revealed that EndSARS panels lack power to investigate agencies of federal government like the Police and Army. Based on that, any decision taken by panels are illegal and will be throw away by the court if challenged he stated.

“The law is the law, the law does not give Lagos State Government the power to investigate Federal Government institutions like Police and Army”.

Recall that the federal government led by President Muhammadu Buhari as a way cushioning the EndSARS protest and finding solution to the issues of police brutality ordered state governments to setup panels of inquiry. More than 20 states setup the panel and have spent millions of naira in allowances and paying of victims of brutality.
