The battle for supremacy in the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) is still raging as Prince Nnanna Ukaegbu has described the suspension pronounced Rev. Augustine Ehiemere as null and void.

Recall that ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER reported the suspension of APGA BOT member and governorship aspirant Sir Chikwe Udensi by the Ehiemere led faction of the party in Abia State. CLICK TO READ FULL.

In a press release made available to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER and signed by Onapuruagu Prince Nnanna Ukaegbu another factional chairman of the party in Abia State, he revealed that Augustine Ehiemere and others are impersonators and that they were recently suspended from the party.

He revealed that they were suspended for allegedly stealing Fifty-Six Million, Four Hundred & Seventy Thousand Naira (N56,470,000.00) funds belonging to APGA and that Barrister J.K Mong is the committee head investigating them.

Ukaegbu urged the Nigeria Police to immediately arrest Ehiemere and others for impersonating his office. Recall that Onapuruagu Prince Nnanna Ukaegbu recently enforced a judgment of the Appeal Court that pronounced him APGA chairman in Abia State in a case that started in 2015.

He took over the APGA headquarters in Umuahia, Abia State capital.

PRESS RELEASE

The attention of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA) Abia State Chapter has been drawn to radio announcements and online publication signed by one Sunday Onukwubiri and Augustine Ehiemere purporting to suspend individuals from our party and impersonating my good self and the office of the state chairman of APGA. APGA Abia State Chapter at her State Working Committee meeting held on the 30th day of August, 2022 at the state secretariat, 128 Aguiyi Ironsi layout, Umuahia, suspended Augustine Ehiemere, Sunday Onukwubiri, Chukwuemeka Nwokoro and Lucky Erondu for allegedly stealing Fifty Six Million, Four Hundred & Seventy Thousand Naira (N56,470,000.00) funds belonging to APGA and set up a committee headed by Barrister J.K. Mong to recover the money.

The purported suspension announcement by these individuals is shameful and a ploy to divert attention from their criminal activities.

APGA Abia State calls on the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command to immediately arrest Augustine Ehiemere, Sunday Onukwubiri and Co. for stealing and for impersonating me and the office of the state chairman of APGA Abia State Chapter in obedience and continued enforcement of the Court of Appeal, Owerri Division Judgement of 7th April, 2022.

Signed:

Onapuruagu Prince Nnanna Ukaegbu

State Chairman, All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Abia State
