Operatives of the Department of State Service (DSS) on Wednesday, August, 4 presented in court, 12 arrested aides of Sunday Adeyemo, alias Sunday Igboho.
Justice Obiora Egwuatu of a Federal High court Abuja during the first hearing on the matter, had ordered the DSS to produce the aides to enable the court inquire into the circumstances surrounding their arrest, and also show cause, why they should not be granted bailed.
At the resumed hearing on Monday, the DSS produced 8 out of the 12 aides. Before time, counsel representing the DSS, I. Awo had claimed that his clients had only 3 persons in their custody.
The 12 detained aides who were arrested in Igboho’s house on July 1 during a raid by the DSS, filed a suit through their counsel Pelumi Olajengbesi, challenging their arrest and continued detention.
