… CAADES Group hosts Governor of Ohangwena Region, Namibia — explores strategic partnerships in investment, clean mobility, tourism, and youth development

In a significant step toward fostering stronger Africa-to-Africa collaboration, the Chairman and CEO of CAADES Group, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, alongside his wife, Mrs. Ada Anyaso, hosted Hon. Kadiva Diana Hamutumwa, Governor of the Ohangwena Region, Republic of Namibia, at the group’s Lagos headquarters.
The high-profile courtesy visit, which took place on Thursday, was marked by engaging discussions on strategic partnerships that would deepen socio-economic ties between Nigeria and Namibia — two nations with growing influence in trade, technology, and innovation across Africa.
According to Dr. Anyaso, the meeting focused on cross-border trade and investment opportunities, clean mobility and transportation innovation (highlighted by a tour of CAADES Group’s cutting-edge E-Drive station), and hospitality and tourism development, including a private tour of one of CAADES’ luxury boutique hotel properties in Lekki, Lagos.
Also on the agenda were youth leadership and development exchange programs, with both parties emphasizing the importance of empowering young Africans through mentorship, entrepreneurship, and skill-building initiatives.
Dr. Anyaso described the engagement as “a reaffirmation of Africa’s ability to build itself through shared knowledge and cooperation,” stressing that “a more connected Africa is a more prosperous Africa.”
Governor Kadiva Hamutumwa, known for her commitment to regional growth and youth empowerment, praised Dr. Anyaso’s vision and CAADES Group’s innovations, noting that the collaboration could open new doors for investment and capacity development between Namibia and Nigeria.
The meeting ended with both parties pledging to continue working toward mutually beneficial initiatives that promote economic growth, sustainable development, and cultural exchange across the continent.
