Democracy Day: Time to Evaluate, Re-evaluate Abia State |THE ABIA PROJECT

Democracy Day comes with a reflective spirit on the journey so far in entrenching sustainable development across all sectors.

A critical component of the dreams and aspirations of Abia Founding Fathers, was to address the developmental needs of the good people of Abia State and guarantee a sustainable future for generations.

It is against this backdrop that Major Media Houses In Abia Under the aegis of Abia State Debate Team has put together an annual retrospective and self assessment program Code named the “Abia Project”.

This program is fashioned to utilize the commemoration of the annual Democracy day to appraise the journey so far in areas of Governance, Economy, Infrastructural Development and Socio- Cultural Integration, and proffer gladly, solutions on the way forward.

This Years Edition, which happens to be the maiden Edition will feature prominent Abians from public and private sectors and promises to be insightful and engaging.

The interaction would be virtual due to directives on Covid-19 and simultaneously broadcast live on Partnering platforms :
FLO 94.9FM, Vision Africa Radio 104.1FM both in Umuahia, Buzz 88.9 FM and Real 99.1FM in Aba, as well as live streaming by FLO FM TV on YouTube, Abia Facts Newspaper and Abia Pulse Newsonline and across other social media platforms.
