Abike Dabiri-Erewa in her reaction to the alleged invasion of Timi Dakolo’s house by armed policemen yesterday, July 20, 2019, supported First Lady Aisha Buhari’s tweet which warned the Nigerian police against intimidating the Dakolos.

Recall we reported earlier that Aisha Buhari had called the attention of the Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed, to report armed policemen invading the singer’s house to take him and his wife to Abuja to answer to allegations of falsehood, mischief and threat to life and criminal conspiracy.

Backing the First Lady’s tweet on the incident, Abike Dabiri-Erewa described it as a tipping point and further alleged that it is one of the many reasons rape victims keep quiet.

The Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, tweeted;

Fully supported. #SayNotoRape. We hope not true that Police intimidating the Dakolo’s. I believe in you @PoliceNG . Pls don’t let us down. One of the reasons victims of Rape keep quiet. This is the tipping point !!Not anymore. Thank you @aishambuhari for your leadership in this
