The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) 2019 governorship candidate, Dr. Alex Otti OFR has started fulfilling his promise by delivering COVID-19 kits to Federal Medical Center and Madonna Hospital both in Umuahia, Abia State today.

During the delivery of the materials at Federal Medical Center Umuahia, Media Aide to Dr. Alex Otti, Mr Ferdinand Ekeoma revealed that the donation of COVID-19 kits is to support the hospital in this critical health challenge period.
“This kits provided by Dr. Alex Otti OFR is aimed at helping the hospital defeat the pandemic called COVID-19” he stated.
While also speaking at Madonna Hospital in Umuahia, Mr. Ekeoma stated that the protection of the lives of Abians is of uttermost importance to his principal which is the reason why he donated this items to help fight the Covid-19 battle.
In appreciation, the Chief Medical Director of Federal Medical center Umuahia, Dr. Azubuike Onyebuchi thanked Otti for the gesture and assured him that the items will be used judiciously to help patients and protect medical staff.
On the other hand, the Medical Director of Madonna Hospital, Rev. Fr Anokwuru Christain Uche prayed for God blessing and protection on Dr. Alex Otti.
He also called on government to refuse the urge of politicizing the COVID-19 pandemic. but instead do everything within its power to protect the people from the pandemic.
He likewise called on other prominent Abians and cooperate organizations to follow the example of Otti and support hospitals during this scourge.
