The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency in the Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha in collaboration with Nzuko Aro Worldwide on Friday 27th March, 2020, embarked on sensitization across the 19 villages in Arochukwu as well as Nkwo market.
Speaking with the people, Hon. Ukoha told members of his constituents to always wash their hands, self isolate themselves, and to cover their mouth while coughing and sneezing.
Also speaking, a retired Health Care Worker, Mrs. Lovina Okoro hammered on the symptoms and preventive measures.
Accordingly, Mrs. Okoro, told the people that some of the symptoms include cough, sneeze, high temperature, difficult in Breathing and headache.
The retired Health Worker also enlightened the people on the protective measures to include washing of hands regularly with soap, sanitizing of hands regularly when one touches surfaces such as door knob, chair, table, avoid hand shake and hugging etc.
The sensitization will continue in the next Nkwo market day to enable the people understand and practice the measures to prevent the disease spread.
