“I have been supporting people for a very long time, it is not a new thing. My passion and desire to help and support people is in born”.

“For example, I have been sharing wrappers for over 5 years to widows and indigent women, i have supported people in many different ways that i will not like to start revealing”

When asked what motivated her to reach out to people now, she had this to say;

“This is one of the best times to reach out to people, a lot of people are suffering because of the Coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown in Abia State has really affected the people”

“Remember, most of our people are daily income people and when you lock them down that means they can no longer make money, they can no longer feed their families and the suffering increases. So, this is the reason i saw it important to support them now” she concluded.

When interacting with some of the people that enjoyed the give away, their happiness was visible on their faces.

A widow, Mrs. Ebere Ibekwe expressed joy and prayed for Mrs Chika Ukandu.

“God will surely bless her, for her to remember us the poor and widow, God will not stop blessing her anywhere she is” she said.

About a 100 people left there with Rice, Noddles, maggi. tomato paste and a lot more.

We equally gathered that another set of people will benefit from the give away on Saturday 11th April 2020.
