Supreme Court Sets Date To Rule On PDP’s Suit Against Tinubu, Shettima | READ DETAILS

The Supreme Court of Nigeria has fixed May 26, 2023 to deliver judgment in a suit filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against Bola Tinubu, the president -elect and his vice, Kashim Shettima.

Recall that the PDP is seeking the disqualification of Tinubu and Shettima who were declared winners of the February 25, 2023 presidential election.

The PDP is also requesting the Supreme Court to quash a court of Appeal judgement waving of the suit on the grounds that the PDP failed to establish it’s Locus standi.
