CONFIRMED (AFN AWARDS): EMEZUE, NWAGWU, ASIEGBU TO RECEIVE RECOGNITION AWARDS

Abia Facts Newspaper award committee have released the first list of AFN RECOGNITION AWARDS. This award was marked out for individuals who have contributed in one way or the other in the political space, social space and governance of Abia State.

The list released consist of the following;

Ugochukwu Emezue –

Ugochukwu Emezue was a former Chief Press Secretary to former Governor T.A Orji, he is currently a top media aide to Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu. Before coming to Abia State to serve, he has worked in SilverBird Television and TVC Television all in Lagos. He is a media veteran.

The Recognition Award is based on his contribution media wise in governance in Abia State which has spanned close to 10 years or more.

Destiny Nwagwu

Destiny Nwagwu contested for Aba North State Constituency seat in the Abia State House of Assembly in the last election, he is a business man and philanthropist.

His recognition award is based on the political/social awareness he created during the 2019 election and his numerous humanitarian activities. He also has a cult following on the social media and on ground.

Nnaji Obed Asiegbu

Nnaji Obed Asiegbu is the former Special Assistant on e-Governance and Strategy to the former governor of Abia State, Gov. T.A Orji.

Obed is being recognized for his massive contribution to the online space in Abia State as pioneer in the industry.
