Three commercial buses in the early hours of Monday, August 9, were set ablaze in Enyiogwugwu, Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo state.
This is coming as the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), announced a compulsory sit-at-home order to protest the continued detention of their leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The group had proposed an ‘every Monday’ lock down in states in the south eastern part of the country.
However, the younger brother of Kanu, Kanunta Kanu, in a statement announced the postponement of the sit at home order to enable students participate in NECO examination.
At the time of filing this report, it cannot be ascertained if there were casualties from the incident.
