ABIA 2023: Chima Nwafor Pledges To Solve 3-Years Electricity Problem In Azuka, Ogbor Hill

The three years of living without electricity supply for residents of Azuka in Ogbor Hill Aba, the commercial city of Abia State, may soon be a thing of the past as Engineer Enyinnaya Chima Nwafor, the governorship candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP), has promised to intervene.

Nwafor made the pledge on Friday, January 20, 2023 when he and his campaign train visited Ukaegbu, 7Up and Azuka areas.

The governorship hopeful assured the residents who had already purchased a transformer, that he will cater for the energising of the transformer to ensure that “the days of darkness in the area are gone”.

“we will cater for the energising of the transformer, to restore electricity in Azuka after three years” Nwafor assured.

He added that;

Ogbor Hill has a pride of place in our strategic remodeling of Aba in line with Modern Urban Renewal. We imagine the beauty of opening access roads beyond Aba Waterside linking residents of Umuoba and 7up areas with their Okpu Umuobo and Eziama neighbors.

It is our achievable plan to redesign Ogbor Hill to the standard of an enviable gateway to Aba, the pride of the South East. The waterside in our work plan, will be a beauty to behold.

“We shall restore Ogbor Hill to the original beautiful and enviable gateway to Aba, in line with the plans of our founding fathers”.
