The Chima Anyaso Foundation, a leading force in educational empowerment and youth development in Nigeria, has welcomed a new scholar into its prestigious scholarship program, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to 364 active scholars.
The latest recipient, Nwazuo Precious Nmesomachi, is a visually impaired student in the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). She was officially presented with her scholarship letter and first cheque at a brief but inspiring ceremony attended by board members, community leaders, and foundation officials.
In the foundation’s letter to the new scholar, the organization expressed its commitment to breaking barriers through education:
“This award reiterates our belief that with education, even those living with physical impairments can attain their full potentials. The Chima Anyaso Foundation is proud to support bright minds like yours, and we believe this opportunity will serve as a springboard for your success and a source of inspiration to others in our community.”
The full scholarship package covers:
- Tuition and departmental fees
- Accommodation costs
- A living stipend
- Support for the entire duration of undergraduate studies, subject to satisfactory academic performance
The foundation also encouraged Nmesomachi to be a good ambassador, representing both the foundation and society at large with excellence and integrity.
