Children are Symbols of Hope, Abia Speaker Says at Child Dedication

The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji was today at the country home of Mr & Mrs Ogbonna Okechukwu in Azueke Ahiaeke, Umuahia North LGA to celebrate with the family as they dedicated their child, little Miss Chikamara Mitchel Ogbonna to God.

The Speaker said children are wonderful gifts from God and that the arrival of a new born baby is always exciting because they represent life, hope and the promise of love.

“I pray that your new born baby will continue to grow in grace and wisdom”, the Speaker said.

Responding, Mr Okechukwu said he was overwhelmed by the presence and accessibility of the Speaker, and thanked him for coming to celebrate with his family. He prayed God to continue to grant him his heart desires.
