The Honorable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and the immediate past Accountant General of Abia State, Chief G. C. Onyendilefu, Mmiri nezoro oha 1, delightfully, felicitates with Abians, at home and abroad, as well as Christians all over the World, on this solemn Easter Celebrations .
He posits that the low key Easter celebrations , occasioned by the ravaging Covid19 Pandemic, evinces the fact that we are Pilgrims on planet earth and hapless victims of a decaying world which resulted in the generous sacrifice of Christ on the cross of Calvary.
He therefore enjoin Christians to see this years Easter in the light of the sacrifice and selflessness of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ hence should eschew bitterness and rancor but embrace peace and forthrightness in all our dealings.
He equally advised all to be mindful of the laid down precautionary measures against covid 19 pandemic while all Abians should also join hands with our dear Governor in his efforts to ensuring that Abians are safe in these precarious season.
Chief Onyendilefu is optimistic that the peace of God that passes all human understanding shall be the portion of all believers amidst these afflictions.
