Businessman and political figure, Chief Emmanuel Peters, has heartily congratulated Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR on the celebration of his two years in office, applauding the governor for what he described as an era of visionary leadership, development-focused governance, and uncommon political courage.
In a goodwill message issued to commemorate the milestone, Chief Peters said the people of Isuikwuato Local Government Area and well-meaning Abians across the globe have every reason to celebrate, having witnessed transformational progress in virtually every sector of the state since Dr. Otti took the reins of power in May 2023.
According to Chief Peters, the restoration of workers’ dignity through prompt and complete salary payments, clearing of pension arrears, road infrastructure, health reform, and the digital revolution across the state are all indicators that Governor Otti is on the path of history and legacy.
“Your Excellency, I am proud of the milestones you have recorded within this short time. From the unprecedented clearing of salary and pension debts to reviving confidence in government, you have demonstrated leadership grounded in empathy, prudence, and results,” Chief Peters stated.
Chief Emmanuel Peters, who has been a consistent supporter of Governor Otti since the early days of the political revolution that began in 2015, reaffirmed the total loyalty of Isuikwuato political stakeholders to the governor’s vision and mission.
“We stood with you before 2015, during your struggle for justice, and in 2023 when the people’s mandate was finally actualized. Let it be known that we, the political leadership of Isuikwuato, will continue to stand by you. As far as 2027 is concerned, there is no vacancy in the Abia Government House.”
He further encouraged the governor not to relent, assuring him of continued prayers, political support, and mobilization from all corners of the constituency to sustain the gains of the past two years.
Chief Peters also called on other well-meaning leaders across the state to unite behind Governor Otti in order to consolidate on the reforms that are gradually repositioning Abia as an economic, digital, and investment hub in Nigeria.
“This is a new Abia, and we must all play our part to ensure that the vision becomes a lasting reality. We are confident that the next two years will be even more remarkable than the last,” he concluded.
