Chief Iheanyi Chinasa, Labour Party Leader in Bende, leads AguBende Movement on condolence visits to Amaedo and Nkpa communities, offering heartfelt support and prayers to grieving families.
The AguBende Movement, under the leadership of Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, Labour Party Leader in Bende, recently embarked on a series of condolence visits to bereaved families in Bende Local Government Area. The movement’s efforts aimed to show solidarity with the people of Amaedo Autonomous Community in Lohum Imenyi and Amaohoro Nkpa Community, who are mourning the loss of their loved ones.
The condolence train first arrived at the Royal Palace of Edo 1 of Amaedo Autonomous Community to express their condolences to the community over the passing of their traditional ruler, Eze Engr. Okechukwu Agoh. The AguBende Movement offered support and prayers for the peaceful repose of Eze Agoh’s soul.
Following this, the team proceeded to the Nkpa country home of Comrade Emmanuel Ugboaja, the General Secretary of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC). There, they consoled the family of Deaconess Mercy Ugboaja, the late mother and matriarch of the Ugboaja family, who recently passed away.
During the visits, Chief Chinasa offered words of comfort to the bereaved families, assuring them that the AguBende Movement would continue to stand by them during this period of grief. He also prayed for the souls of the departed and reaffirmed the movement’s commitment to supporting the Bende communities.
The AguBende delegation was warmly received by members of the Eze in Council and other local leaders at Amaedo. In Nkpa, Eze Joseph Ugboaja, the younger brother of Comrade Emmanuel Ugboaja, welcomed the team on behalf of the family.
Chief Chinasa was accompanied by several prominent members of the AguBende Movement, including Chief Okechukwu Ochiobi, the APP candidate for Bende South Constituency in the 2023 general election, and Hon. Obioma Iheumwumere, the Councillor representing Uzuakoli Ward in Bende Local Government Council.
These condolence visits highlight the AguBende Movement’s dedication to community service and their role in offering support during difficult times.
