“Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, Leader of the Labour Party in Bende, has praised the party’s unity and new leadership following a successful National Stakeholders Meeting in Umuahia, positioning the party for future electoral victories.”

Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, the Leader of the Labour Party in Bende, has praised the party’s Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, and other key figures for their commitment and presence at the recently concluded Expanded National Stakeholders Meeting held in Umuahia.

In a statement, Chief Chinasa celebrated the party’s unity and readiness for victory, describing the meeting as a significant step toward repositioning the Labour Party for future success. “I’m thrilled to see our party united and poised for victory,” he remarked. “This meeting marks a milestone in our efforts to bring greater glory to the party.”

He also lauded Governor Alex Otti of Abia State for his initiative in organizing the meeting, stating: “His commitment to our party’s success is not only greatly appreciated but also legendary.”

The meeting, initiated by Governor Otti, was designed to provide a platform to address internal issues and promote unity. A key outcome was the appointment of a 29-member National Caretaker Committee, led by former Minister of Finance, Senator Esther Nenadi Usman, as Chairperson, and Senator Darlington Nwokocha as Secretary. This committee has been tasked with reorganizing the party, resolving leadership challenges, and preparing for future electoral victories.

Chief Chinasa expressed gratitude to all participants for their contributions, emphasizing that their collective efforts will drive the Labour Party toward success in the upcoming elections.

Dr. Alex Otti, leveraging his position as the party’s only elected governor, played a pivotal role in facilitating this crucial gathering to address party challenges and unify members in preparation for future political battles.
