In a commendable display of community spirit and development, Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, the Leader of the Labour Party in Bende, has praised the individual efforts of Chief Johnson Chukwu in spearheading the Isieke Civic Centre project in Ugwueke. The event, which took place on August 6th, highlighted the strategic importance of such Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in fostering societal transformation and grassroots development.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Chief Chinasa lauded Chief Chukwu for his patriotic initiative, noting that the completion of the Isieke Civic Centre stands as a testament to Chief Chukwu’s unwavering commitment to the community. “I want to thank Chief and Lolo Johnson Chukwu for their patriotic initiative in commencing and completing this Isieke Civic Centre. It is a true testament to their unwavering commitment to community development and a tangible example of the role such CSR efforts can play in societal transformation,” said Chief Chinasa.
He further emphasized the crucial role that such projects play in grassroots development, describing the Isieke Civic Centre as a symbol of enduring community progress. Chief Chinasa urged other affluent individuals in Abia to follow the example set by Chief and Lolo Chukwu by investing in life-enhancing projects in rural areas. “By doing so, we shall be partnering with our action Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, in replicating New Abia projects at the grassroots,” he concluded.
