President Muhammadu Buhari has said Nigeria is country better as a united sovereign state than when its breaks up.

He stated this at the launching of Peace Foundation Zaria on Saturday.

He said that those agitating for separation of the country were ignorant of war and its consequences

The President represented by Executive Secretary, Revue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Alhaji Mohammed Bello Shehu, further stated that separation of the country would not help matter.

Also speaking, Kaduna state Governor, Mallam Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai, represented by the state Commissioner for education, Dr Shehu Usman Mohammed said that the Country had grown beyond separation.

He pointed out that those calling for separation should come back to their senses because Nigerians were spread in every part of the Country.

In his lecture on peace, Guest lecturer Dr Mohammed Yakubu out lined the way out of crisis among divergent citizens of the country.

“In as such we want peace to reign amongst us we must tolerate one another and respect our various norms and values.

“There must be policy to rebump economy and review security structure.” He said
Dr Yakubu explained mutual understanding, inter tribal marriage would also play significant roles in the promotion of peace amongst citizens

The varsity don added that community leaders must be involved in promotion of peace and security in societies.

In his welcome remarks the Foundation’s chairman and one the children of late Alhaja Kudirat Olayinka Adayemi Abiola, Alhaji Jami’u Abiodun Abiola, said he was happy to be live to come up with the foundation in memory Of his late Mother.

He pointed out that at the his Mother’s death in June, 1996 no body thought he was going to live up to this time as such, he thanked almighty live for making him alive.
