BU-STED: How ABSU Sent An Unqualified Student Into Nigerian Law School | DETAILS
The Abia State University (ABSU), has withdrawn one Mr. Princewill Chimezie Onwuka from the list of students to be admitted into the Nigerian Law School Abuja, for the 2021/2022 academic session.
This is coming after ABSU had compiled its results, awarded the affected student with a second class lower (2.2) degree result, before forwarding it to the Nigerian Law school on September 17, 2021.
Prof. E.C. Ngwakwe, Dean, Faculty of Law, ABSU, in a letter dated October 8,2021, said the Institution found an error in the result of Onwuka, with the matriculation number 15/100166.
According to the Dean, Prince will Chimezie Onwuka, did not pass all his courses as required, and as such, does not qualify to be admitted into the Nigerian Law School.
Meanwhile, it has been alleged that the withdrawal of Princewill Chimezie Onwuka from the list of students to be admitted into the Nigerian Law School, maybe connected to a social media post he made attacking a government official in Abia State.
It is alleged that if the incident between him and the government official did not occur, the school would have found no reason to withdraw him from law school as he had already scaled through the process through the back door with the help of some of the school management.
