Based on the information AFNEWS is monitoring at the moment, former Abia State Governor, Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu have been discharged by the court.
Our source informed us that application of release filed by his counsels was approved by the High Court judge.
Remember, AFNEWS had earlier reported that Senator Orji Uzor Kalu filed a motion on notice on May 12 at the Federal High Court in Lagos, asking it to set him free.
