BREAKING (#EndSARS): Buhari to address Nigerians at 7pm

President Muhammadu Buhari will make a nationwide broadcast this evening (Thursday) at 7pm, to address developments that have generated from the #EndSARS protests and the violent crisis in some parts of the country.

According to a statement issued by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, the broadcast would be aired on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria.

“Following detailed briefing by security chiefs on the current situation in the country, President Muhammadu Buhari will make a national broadcast Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 7pm.

“Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria respectively for the broadcast,” the statement said
