The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), is arraigning Senator Rochas Okorocha, a 2023 Presidential aspirant under the APC before a Federal High Court in Abuja, today.

Okorocha who is facing 17-count charges bordering on alleged fraud to the tune of N2.9b, was brought in by operatives of the anti-graft agency and is expected to be tried by Justice Inyang Ekwo.

Recall that Okorocha was arrested in his Abuja residence on Tuesday, 24, by the EFCC after laying siege for hours as he jumped bail, refusing to honour their invitations.

Okorocha’s family members including his legal team led by Mr Kehinde Ogunwumiju, SAN, are in court for the trial.
