BREAKING: Court Grants Yahaya Bello Bail
A Federal High Court in Abuja granted a N500 million bail to Yahaya Bello, the immediate past governor of Kogi State, on Friday.
Bello was on trial for a 16-count charge of fraud to the tune of N110.4 billion.
While presiding over the court session on Friday, Justice Emeka Nwite ordered that Bello must produce two sureties in like sum.
The two sureties must swear to an affidavit of means and must be owners of properties in Abuja.
Also, the title documents of the properties, which must be in Abuja, will be verified by the Deputy Chief Registrar of the court.
