BREAKING: Court Gives Verdict On Nnamdi Kanu’s Bail Application | DETAILS
Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, have been denied bail by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.
Justice Binta Nyako at the resumed sitting on Wednesday, refused the bail application tendered by the legal counsels representing Kanu.
Nyako refused Kanu’s defense that he escaped the country following a siege on his country home in Afaraukwu Umuahia, Abia state by operatives of the Nigerian Army.
She held that Kanu must account for his whereabouts for years when he was first granted bail but refused to attend court for trial.
