BOOM: Talknado’s church defends itself, reveals how Abia COVID 19 Task force edited video to suit them

Remember, AFNEWS had published the video made available by Abia COVID 19 taskforce in which they claimed that a church service held at Bible Believing Mission Church (TALKNADO) despite the lockdown order of Abia State Governor due to COVID 19 or Coronavirus pandemic.

But in a swift reply, the leadership of the church has debunked the insinuation and described the video as false and an attempt to blackmail and tarnish the image of Pastor Kingsley Innocent(TALkNADO).

In a press release made available to AFNEWS and signed by the church leadership, they revealed that no church service held on the said Sunday 26th of April 2020, but rather they were sharing the palliatives that was made available to the church by Abia State Government to their less privileged members.

They alleged that Ubani Dannie and his team edited the video recorded on that day so as to suit their own narrative and claimed that if the full video was made public that narrative will change.

They warned against the task force seeking cheap popularity by damaging the image of a respected man of God and asked for the task force to apologize to the church.

READ A PART OF THE CHURCH PRESS RELEASE BELOW:

There was no church service in our church on Sunday the 26th day of April 2020 that was disrupted or on any other day as claimed by Mr Danni Ubani the Chairman of the Abia state task force on Covid 19.

The truth of the matter was that on Friday the 24th day of April 2020 our church received food palliative items from the Abia state government and consequent upon this, the leadership of our church invited some less privileged members of the church to come to the church compound on the following Sunday being the 26th day of April 2020 to enable them get the said palliative food items.

While the sharing of the said palliatives was going on, the Abia state task force led by the Chairman of the team drove into the church premises. The taskforce observation revealed that there was no church service going on in the church and later had an interview with the some members of the leadership of the church.

The said task force were convinced by the explanation given to them by the leadership of the church which was recorded by the task force media team. The general overseer of our church Pastor Kingsley Innocent was not in the church and has been outside Abia state for some time now following the lockdown.

We were totally embarrassed by the said video which came to us as a rude shock. The Chairman of the task force in order to gain cheap propaganda edited the discussion which he had with the leadership of the church in other to suit his selfish purpose.

We are therefore using this medium to enlighten the people and government of Abia state and indeed the whole world to know what actually transpired on the said Sunday the 26th day of April 2020. We frown at this behavior of the Abia state task force on Covid 19 as we are aware that our General Over seer Pastor Kingsley Innocent(TALkNADO) and the entire members of Bible Believing Mission are law abiding citizens and can’t disregard government directives.

No member of the task force was attacked nor was there video camera or police vehicle vandalised by the members of our church. One wonders how defenceless and vulnerable members of a church can attack well armed police officers numbering more 20 without any counter response from the police officers.

The news championed by the said task force Chairman through the magic fm ABA in the morning hours of Monday 27th of April is most embarrassing to our church and a further effort to win cheap propaganda and smear the image of our General Over seer Pastor Kingsley Innocent(TALkNADO).

We have a very cordial relationship with the present abia state government and we can’t sit down and allow an overzealous servant of the state use our church to gain cheap popularity.

In the light of the above we demand that the said Mr Danni Ubani should render an unreserved apology to the person of our General Over seer Pastor Kingsley Innocent(TALkNADO) for this fake video which he has caused to enter into the internet knowing same to be a photo shop and false.

Let’s not spoil the image of true man of God in the guise of claiming that we are working for the government. Abia state belongs to all of us.

Thanks from the leadership of Bible Believing Mission church Incorporated.(TALkNADO church).
