From Theodore Orji to several other backers of the failed Okezie Ikpeazu regime, Alex Otti must be stopped at all cost from occupying the government house now and in the near future.

The name Alex Otti strikes fear in them for a reason. He is the only man amongst all the governorship candidates they cannot play games with. He is his own man and has the capacity in all ramifications to fearlessly confront and defeat them.

They know he would not open the keys to Abia vaults, and would always choose to satisfy the interest of Ndi Abia over the greed of the elites.

Most importantly- Alex Otti knows his stuff and would not be pushed around by emergency billionaires with neither career record nor history of profitable entrepreneurship.

Those who have feasted on the treasury of the Abia State government as parasitic elites would do everything humanly possible to retain their undue privilege. Their predicament is certainly understandable.

Make no mistake- the blood tonic system does not just profit the elites in cosy VIP apartments in Ikoyi and Asokoro areas of Lagos and Abuja respectively.

The Abia State civil service has thousands of ghost workers. These persons- sons and daughters of political elites- who have not been to the state in years are paid like regular civil servants. That’s how pathetic the situation is, but the present occupant of the seat of power, lacks the vision, the capacity, and the courage to end this retrogressive and anti people practice.

There are also senior civil servants in ministries and parastatals who collaborate actively with every regime in looting of government treasury. They are working tirelessly to ensure that the evil regime continues.

They exploit every loophole in the system to line their pockets.

There are also traditional rulers, members of the clergy community and several others who receive regular settlements from the state treasury at Umuahia in exchange for their silence.

So our elites look away while the state rots. They remain silent as grand roguery take place in government offices, they keep mum when they should speak up- all because they have been “settled.”

The blood tonic system is the reason Abia is behind all other states in the region. It is the reason nothing works- everything remain stagnant.

An Alex Otti government will be determined to dismantle the “blood tonic system.” This should be good news for you and I- the very people who have suffered years of misgovernance and criminal leadership.

An Alex Otti will pull resources away from the “blood tonic” pipe and channel same to the development and welfare of the Abia masses. An Alex Otti government will plug all the loophole in the system- ensuring accountability in the management of resources.

Dr Alex Otti will invest in Abia’s decayed infrastructure, collapsed education, non-existent social welfare scheme, dysfunctional health system and social investment programs. He will only need to scoop money from the unprofitable “blood tonic” system.

Civil servants will be paid as at when due. How? Because he is creative, he has ideas and contacts. The loopholes currently being exploited by the political elites and their conniving civil servants will be blocked- using fail-proof technological solution as obtains in several places.
