Bende Stakeholders Applaud Chief Chinasa's Appointment as National Assembly Liaison Officer

Bende stakeholders commend Governor Otti’s strategic appointment of Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa as Liaison Officer, National Assembly, citing his global exposure and leadership skills.

In a move praised as both “apt and strategic,” political stakeholders and youth associations in Bende Local Government Area have celebrated the recent appointment of Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa as Liaison Officer, National Assembly. His appointment is part of Governor Alex Otti’s latest round of leadership announcements, which include seven new appointees and four reassignments, as disclosed by Chief Press Secretary Ukoha Njoku.

In separate reactions, leaders from various Bende youth associations, including Dr. Silas Eke, Mr. James Chukwu, and Mrs. Stella Okorie, hailed the appointment as a “perfect match,” emphasizing Chief Chinasa’s global exposure, ambassadorial skills, and deep understanding of political dynamics. They believe these attributes will enable him to effectively represent Abia State at the National Assembly in Abuja.

The appointment has been widely welcomed, following a vox pop conducted after the announcement. Respondents lauded Chief Chinasa’s reputation as a seasoned political strategist, community leader, and philanthropist. Youth leaders also urged him to maintain his commitment to selfless service, a hallmark of his political career, and pledged their unwavering support for his mission in Abuja.

Chief Chinasa’s appointment is seen as further evidence of Governor Otti’s dedication to assembling a competent and visionary team to drive Abia’s development. Political analysts have described the decision as a strategic step toward strengthening Abia’s presence at the national level.
