THE BABY FACTORY VIDEO:
It would be recalled that the military had on Sunday morning invaded the facility strategically located at Umumkpeyi Nvosi in Isialangwa South LGA where a Baby Factory was being operated and alerted Abia state government who swiftly swung into action and ensured the rescue and evacuation of the girls and two little babies.
The girls numbering 21 were initially taken to School of Nursing Amachara, but due to the strike action embarked on by the staff, there weren’t enough hands to take care of them, which was why they were taken to Madonna College of Health Technology where they were counselled, fed and properly taken care of by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Vulnerable Groups and Poverty Alleviation, Mrs. Ifeoma Thomas in conjunction with the hospital.
One of the girls who had severe contraction while they were at School of Nursing and was handed over to the Nurses to care for has now been delivered of a baby girl.
Two persons were arrested by the military in connection with the Baby Factory while the owner and operator, one Mma Charity Lilian Achumba is on the run.
