B00M: ‘Those Who Live In Glass Houses Don’t Throw Stones’, Ikechi Emenike Fires Ogah

Factional All Progressive Congress (APC), Abia state chapter, has warned the Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Chief Uche Ogah, to respect the Secretary of the party’s convention Strategy, Contact and Mobilization committee, Chief Ikechi Emenike, stressing that those who live in glass houses don’t throw stones.

The Minister had in a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Damian Igbokwe, stated that Emenike cannot win election as the President General of his native community, Ohuhu in Umuahia North LGA of Abia State.

In a statement signed by the factional Publicity Secretary, APC ,Abia State,Mr. Sterling Uruakpa, the party described Ogah’s outburst as rascal, appalling and irresponsible coming from the person and office of Minister, adding that it would have ignored the outburst but for the purpose of enlightening the right thinking public.

The party expressed shock that the irresponsible behaviours, words, actions and publications from the Minister are going on while those who are supposed to be elders of the APC in the State are keeping silent and perhaps, enjoying it without calling Ogah to order.

“It is hereby abundantly clear that Chief Ikechi Emenike does not have the ambition to become either the Traditional Ruler or President General of any of the Autonomous Communities in Ohuhu clan of Umuahia North LGA, even if offered to him unopposed. On the other hand, anyday the Minister of State Chief Uche Ogah aspires to be the President General or even the Prime Minister, talkless of the Traditional Ruler (Eze) of any village, town or community in Uturu community in Isuikwuato LGA, that same day the people, the indigenes of Uturu will protest against him. We will certainly tell Uche Ogah who he is, if this nonsense of his does not stop forth with.

“It is an indisputable fact that there is no comparison between Chief Ikechi Emenike and Uche Ogah. If we have to show a little bit of the popularity and responsibility profile of Chief Ikechi Emenike and Uche Ogah then the following verifiable facts will become handy. Chief Ikechi Emenike is a highly educated gentleman, a career person whose career paths are stable, traceable and verifiable, a public servant, a former University lecturer, a former Editor of a reputable international news magazine before coming into politics.

“Chief Ikechi Emenike does not have a history of having been arrested and charged to Magistrate Court in Lagos for forgery in the year 2016/2017. It is public knowledge that Chief Uche Ogah was arraigned in Lagos for forgery, impersonation and other fraudulent activities.

“Chief Ikechi Emenike has no history of obtaining the APC Governorship nomination by pretending that he would run the 2019 election but midway it was discovered that Uche Ogah did not paste posters, no billboards, no radio jingles and no campaign buses or any other campaign vehicles even Keke Napep. On the Election Day in 2019,the electorate abandoned Chief Uche Ogah because they knew he wasn’t contesting for anything. Infact, Chief Uche Ogah abandoned the election.

“We will not say much now but let Uche Ogah do any more nonsense and we will expose him.”
