B00M: How Gang Kidnapped Immigration PRO, Sold Her To Fulani Herdsmen | READ IN FULL

Edo State Police Command has arrested two Fulani herdsmen; Baguba Usman and Yusuf Ismaila, one Innocent Emonyon, member of a notorious kidnap syndicate in connection with the abduction of  Mrs Bridget Esene, the State’ P.R.O. of Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS).

 

Emonyon, 40, had escaped from police custody after he was arrested in February, by operatives of the Anti Kidnapping and Cybercrime Unit of the State Police command, alongside three other members of his gang in their hideout in Ahor forest.

Emonyon while speaking to Standard Gazette,on how they kidnapped the Immigratiion PRO on January 24, and other victims, said;

 

“I was the one who drove the car used in kidnapping the Edo Immigration PRO and sold her to some Fulani herdsmen in Ahor forest..

 

“We also kidnapped a businesswoman along Lucky Way in Benin city, where we took her to the same forest after we destroyed her two mobile phones.”

“We  kidnapped another businessman in Aduwawa, Benin city where we snatched his Toyota Highlander jeep.”

On the where-about of the other  four members, he said;

 

“I heard they were arrested, and I quickly ran to Lagos so that they will not catch me; I was shocked how the police got me now.”

 

Baguba Usman and Yusuf Ismaila, who were named as accomplices to the abductions, were arrested in the Ahor forest, on March 24, by the anti-kidnapping and cyber-crime unit.

“I escaped from prison on October 19, 2020, after some people broke into the prison by force and asked us to go.

“I knew Desmond, one of the kidnappers in prison, and we planned and carried out so many kidnappings in Benin city” Baguba confessed .
