Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has berated the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for refusing to greet the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, respectfully.
He stated this while reacting to a viral picture showing Tinubu sitting down while the Ooni stands to greet him at the coronation of the Oniru of Iruland, Oba Omogbolahan Lawal.

Reacting in a post on his Twitter accounton Thursday, Fani-Kayode wondered by Tinubu would refuse to stand up to greet his traditional ruler.
According to the former minister, Tinubu’s behaviour was deeply insulting to every Ife son and daughter.
Fani-Kayode wrote: “That the Asiwaju of Bourdillon refused to stand up to greet the Ooni of Ife speaks volumes.
“This was not only deeply insulting to every Ife & indeed son & daughter of Odua but it is also a crying shame.
