B-OOM: Davido Speaks On N250m He Promised Orphanages In 27 States

Popular Singer David Adedeji Adeleke aka Davido, has spoken up on the N250 million he promised to give 292 orphanages in 27 States.

Recall that the ‘OBO crooner in November 2021, was the talk of the social media after he asked his friends and colleagues to donate one million Naira each.

The award-winning singer announced that the five-man committee, which was set up in November 2021 to collate names and information of documented and verified orphanages, has completed the disbursement of funds to the orphanages.

In a series of tweets on Tuesday night, Davido released the full names and locations of the 292 orphanages that benefitted from the benevolent act.

The 29-year-old expressed gratitude to family, friends, fans and associates for the support while maintaining his famous quote, ‘always remember, we rise by lifting others.’
