Comedian AY has highlighted the growing challenges of being Nigerian, stating it gets tougher by the minute. Reality star Phyna also criticized the recent hike in passport fees, calling it unjustified.

Popular comedian Ayodeji Richard Makun, widely known as AY, has expressed his frustration over the increasing difficulties of life in Nigeria. Taking to his X handle on Thursday, Ayodeji Richard Makun lamented how challenging it has become to live as a Nigerian, stating, “Being a Nigerian just gets tougher and tougher by minutes.”

Ayodeji Richard Makun’s sentiments resonate with many who are grappling with the daily struggles in the country, from economic hardship to social instability.

In a related development, reality TV star Josephine Ijeoma Otabor, known as Phyna, has also voiced her displeasure with recent changes in the country. Reacting to the recent hike in fees for the processing and acquisition of Nigerian passports, Phyna criticized the increment, arguing that it is unjustified given the challenges Nigerians face globally with their passports.

On her X handle, Phyna wrote, “Increasing the price of our passport that when you get to some countries sef because of the passport you go be like who sh*t for body….is what they are increasing… Omo this country don fall flat…. Nothing good seems to be coming out at all.”

The shared frustration from both AY and Phyna reflects a growing sentiment among Nigerians who feel that the difficulties of living in the country are intensifying.
