Atiku‘s Convoy Attacked In Borno, Many Hospitalized | DETAILS +PHOTOS

Some hoodlums on Wednesday, attacked the convoy of Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate in Maiduguri, Borno state.

 

The hoodlums vandalised over 100 vehicles in the convoy of Atiku at Ramat Square in Maiduguri leaving at least 74 persons who came for the rally hospitalized with varying degree of injury.

Confirming the attack, the spokesperson of the Atiku Campaign council, Dino Melaye, accused the ruling APC in Borno.

“They wanted to prevent us from holding the campaign, as we speak, 74 people were injured and hospitalised. Several vehicles were vandalised by APC thugs.”

“thugs were deployed in many strategic locations to attack our supporters. But we want to assure them that nobody can stop us” Dino Melaye said.
