PHOTOS: Atiku present as presidential tribunal reconvenes for adoption of final addresses
The presidential election petition court has reconvened to continue the petition filed by Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The tribunal had adjourned the petition after President Bola Tinubu, Vice-President Kashim Shettima and the All Progressives Congress (APC) closed their defence on July 5.
The court had directed parties in the petition to write, file and exchange their final written addresses.
Atiku is challenging the outcome of the February 25 election and praying the court to nullify Tinubu’s victory.
At the court session on Tuesday, Atiku and some other political associates were present.
Parties in the suit are expected to adopt their final written addresses.
