“Oh, if just you were a little slimmer”, “If your hair were a little longer”. A good man is not expected to poke on the appearance that makes you feel bad about yourself or degrading you. If your guy is doing something just like this, then he’s purposely trying to reduce your self-worth so that you don’t feel confident enough and leave him one day. It’s just his way of controlling you. So, walk, away, now!!

9. Invading your privacy, NOPE!!

In a healthy relationship, you do not need to hide your Facebook messages, emails, texts, whatever from your man. But that does not mean your partner has the right to peek on these stuff once you leave your phone or computer open around them. They would be showing a massive insecurity if they ever happen to do like this. This behavior must not be ignored since it is a way of projecting their own issues and infidelities onto you.

8. He must never discourage you

A relationship must never be someone’s entire life, but it is a large part of it. We know that in many relationships women often feel much cast aside for “guy’s night” or something like that. A man must have individuality and network. But he must be cautious about leading an active social life and knocking the woman in his life further down the priority list. Take a step back and look where your relationship is going, if you spend more time waiting for him than spending time with him.

Abuse can be of many types, they certainly don’t have to be physical or just in a relationship. Some people are emotionally abusive towards pet or children as well as their partner. This comes from the desire to break another down.

A good man knows that his worth and confidence comes from within himself and not by placing others below him. If you get a sign of any type of abuse, just walk or better, run away immediately. We all deserve better!!

Don’t make excuses for those who don’t treat you well. Figure out if you are really with a self-respecting decent human being or not. Only then, you will be treated with the perfect amount of compassion and love which you deserve.
