Ahmed El-Marzuk, has resigned as the National Legal Adviser of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to reports, he resigned on Wednesday, following insistence by some of his colleagues that he could not longer be in office due to some allegations against him.
Meanwhile, the APC is currently holding its 12th National Executive Committee (NEC), meeting of the party, in Abuja.
El-Marzuk’s replacement might be named at the meeting.
