According to the report, the 66-year-old will end his second stint at Real Madrid this June and will not be in the dugout for the FIFA Club World Cup this summer.

The details

According to the report from Fabrizio Romano, the Italian, currently on contract with Real Madrid until 2026, is discussing with the Los Blancos parting ways on amicable terms.

He will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season in June, and not after the Copa del Rey final, as purported by certain reports. However, Real Madrid’s season does not end in June, as they are involved in the Club World Cup.

This will not hamper the next step for Carlo, however, as he will leave in June, and will not coach Real Madrid in the Club World Cup.

According to the aforementioned Fabrizio, this was insisted upon by the CBF, who want Carlo to be on the touchline from the first week of June.

It’s been long coming

Ancelotti has been on the Brazil national team’s agenda for a while. The most latest stint began after the exit of Tite in 2022.

Ancelotti has repeatedly rebuffed them publicly, with the latest coming when Ronaldo Nazario, competing to become the CBF president, claimed to have reached an agreement with the Italian to become the next coach.

Delima lost to the incumbent Ednaldo Rodrigues, who had also twice claimed to have reached an agreement with the former Napoli boss.
