ANAMBRA: Obiano Set To Hand Over Power, Takes Soludo On Tour | PHOTOS
The incumbent governor of Anambra state, Willie Obiano is set to hand over power to governor elect, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).
Obiano ahead of the official date for the handover ceremony (Thursday, March 17), was hosted to a valedictory session organized by Members of the State House of Assembly at the Assembly complex on Tuesday.
After the session, he took his successor, Soludo on a guided tour round the state government house in preparation for the official handover.
Soludo described event as an emotional moment.
“It was an emotional moment for me, another reminder of the transience of everything under the sun. Of course prayers were offered at the behest of Governor Obiano.
May Anambra continue to succeed, and may her light never go dim” Soludo wrote on his social media page.
